Sad Death of Don Harrington & Funeral Details
Sad Death of Don Harrington
I have just had the sad news that Don Harrington passed away this morning (Sunday 26th June 2022).
Most of you will have known Don from his days at Dewsbury where he served in various roles lastly as a DCI.
He finished his career as the Superintendent at the force training school at Bishopgarth.
He was not a Dewsbury NARPO member but most people knew him.
I do not have much detail at the moment, but Don had not being well for some time, suffering from dementia. He was still at home but had carers going in daily to help him. It is believed the carers went in this morning and Don had gone to shower where he collapsed and sadly passed away.
